Parenting is a very personal and cultural activity. There are parenting needs and concerns in every stage of life, from pregnancy to launching adult children. I have knowledge and life experience caring for children, and remaining a viable adult in relationship while raising children. I support both moms and spouses in pregnancy, new parents, postpartum issues, early parenting, teen struggles, and parenting negotiations between couples.
I have knowledge and training in pregnancy, early childhood education, and supporting school age children. I work extensively with teens and young adults both in my private practice and on staff at Santa Barbara City College’s personal counseling department.
One of my specialties is working with older teens struggling to find identity, stuck at home, or struggling with launching after mental health concerns.
